Our Organization
ProCure Agency, Inc is a non-profit Meditation and Wellness Center dedicated to Whole Person Well Being through the use of Evidenced Based Practices, Brain Health Education, Mindfulness, and Meditation.
Through Meditation and Wellness Services individuals are provided support and education that cater to their holistic self which is composed of their Spirit, body, emotions, mind, brain, as well as their relationships. Individuals and families are given the support and guidance in overcoming life’s challenges, achieving short-term and long term-goals, promoting emotional growth, improving concentration, sharpening their ability to focus, strengthening their relationships, and addressing mental health concerns.
Our Founder
Deona M. Frierson, LCSW, NM-I is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Amen Clinic Certified Brain Health Coach, Certified Imago Therapist, and a Certified NeuroMeditation Instructor. She is trained in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and a practitioner of Transcendental Meditation (TM). She is currently in private practice in Charlotte, North Carolina.
In 2008, Deona founded ProCure Therapeutic Agency, Inc., a Nationally Accredited Behavioral Health Organization offering quality, accessible Evidence-Based Mental and Behavioral Health Services to children, adolescents, and families. She is also the founder of The Excellent Marriage™ where she serves as a Relationship Expert and Certified Imago Therapist providing Marriage Intensives, Retreats, Seminars, and Therapy.
In 2019 Deona launched ProCure Agency, Inc. (501c3) a Wellness and Meditation Center. The non-profit side of the organization will focus on Brain Health, Mindfulness, and NeuroMeditation. With her certification as a NeuroMeditation Instructor, she has guided adults in managing their holistic health which involves their Spirit, brain, mind, emotions, body, and relationships.
Apart from her desire to bear witness to BIPOC (Black Indigenous People of Color) experiencing healing, wholeness, and wellness, she is also passionate about social justice, accessible health care, and ending the stigma associated with mental health treatment.
Deona enjoys and cherishes spending quality time with her husband David of over 18 years and children Malik, Isaiah, and Hannah.
